Safety Policy for Students Under 18
🔹 General Safety Guidelines
Creating a safe, supportive learning environment is a top priority. For students under 18, I follow strict safety policies to ensure professionalism and transparency:
-
Online tutoring is the default option for flexibility, safety, and ease of supervision.
-
Parental supervision is welcomed during sessions if preferred or requested.
-
Due to my primary focus on university-level students, I do not currently hold an Enhanced DBS Check but am happy to obtain one if required for in-person tutoring.
🔹 In-Person Tutoring for Students Aged 14–17
For students aged 14–17 who prefer or require in-person sessions, alternative supervision arrangements can be made to ensure transparency and comfort, including:
-
Holding sessions in an open, public setting (e.g., library, university study space, or co-working space).
-
Having a parent/guardian remain on-site (e.g., in the same building or nearby area).
-
Recording the session (with consent) for transparency.
-
Providing session summaries to parents or guardians upon request.
Â
My priority is ensuring a comfortable, transparent, and safe learning experience while maintaining professional integrity.
If you have specific preferences regarding supervision or session arrangements, I’m happy to discuss them before scheduling.Â
