📚 Tutoring Rates

I offer both online and in-person tutoring, with in-person sessions at a higher rate to account for travel and venue costs. Pricing varies depending on subject complexity, student level, and preparation required.
My rates are structured to reflect the level of expertise and personalized support I provide.

Online Tutoring Rates (per hour)

 

 

  • School-Level (GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level, IB): £40 – £60

  • University-Level (BSc & MSc): £60 – £80

  • Actuarial Exam Preparation (CS1, CS2, CM1, CM2): £85 – £120

  • Advanced Topics & Specialized Tutoring: £70 – £120

In-Person Tutoring Rates (per hour)

Available in Leeds city centre. Rates include a premium to account for travel and venue costs:

  • Public/free venues (e.g., libraries, university study spaces):
    A £10–£15 additional premium is applied to the hourly rate.

  • Private/paid venues (e.g., co-working spaces, office rentals):
    Venue rental costs are discussed and agreed in advance with the student, and added separately to the session fee.

Discounts & Special Offers

  • New Student Discount: 10% off your first 1-hour session.

  • Bulk Booking Discount: Book 5 hours in advance and receive 10% off the total cost.

  • Group Sessions Discount: Small group sessions (2–4 students) are available at a reduced rate per student. Contact me for a customized quote.

  • Referral Discount: Refer a friend or classmate, and both of you will receive a 5% discount on your next session.
    Referral discounts apply individually per referral and are cumulative up to a maximum of 50% off one session.

At Math Expert Help Hub (MEHH), I believe strongly in the transformative power of education. Having come to the UK from Mexico on a scholarship, I understand firsthand the barriers faced by students from disadvantaged backgrounds. While currently focusing on building my tutoring services, I’m passionate about giving back through collaboration with schools and community organizations.
